Muskegon River, Manistee River Steelhead and Salmon

"My Dad and I went Steelhead fishing with Terry Weiler's 519 At-Ease Charters on Jan 1, 2005 . We had a great time catching 5 and losing 4, the Steelhead were all in the 9lb range and put up an awesome fight. We will definately be going with Terry in the fall for 20lb Salmon - I can only imagine how much they fight! As a bonus the Muskegon River scenery is stunning, we even saw two mature Bald Eagles!!"

I went out to the Muskegon River with a friend of mine. I was a little uneasy about how to get the lines set and what lures to use because we both had never been fishing for Steelhead, but Terry took care of everything. The experience and knowledge that Terry had for the River and the fish was unbeliveable. My friend and I caught our Limit, and seeing them run and jump out of the water is something I will never forget. This trip was very affordable for an all day excursion. My Friend and I had a great time and will return next year for another trip. I would reccomend and have rexcommended Terry to many others it is truly a great experience.

I truly appreciate your ability to find fish when know one else is catching fish and when the bite is hot you are even better. Our customers and employees have greatly appreciated a day on the river and the fantastic experience of catching big fish in the river.

I have fished with Terry over 30 times now, and never once has he let me, or my customers down. We always boat fish with him. Often, after the trip, my guests contact Terry for additional trips on their own. Most of them have fished a charter on Lake Michigan, and comment that a river trip with Terry is a much more comfortable, and relaxing day. Bringing customers that don't fish often can sometimes be difficult, but Terry always makes them welcome, and puts them "at ease" as they land beautiful fish in his boat. Terry is much more than a wonderful guide, he has grown to become a good friend. Terry's knowledge of the river, and how to fish grows each and every year. I can honestly say, that in all of my trips with Terry, I have never witnessed another boat with more fish than us on ANY given trip. I am never more relaxed than when I am in his boat, and I can honestly say some of the best times of my life have been spent with him, catching big Salmon and Steelhead.
